The NEW FORMULATION Cobalt Friction GT-Sport Brake Pad is a now available!!

The new compound Cobalt Friction GT-Sport Brake Pad is formulated specifically for light duty track use and Auto-X. The GT-Sport Pad, much like the Axxis Ultimate’s, combines the high thermal threshold of a race pad with the low optimal operating temperature of a street pad. The Cobalt Friction GT-Sport Brake Pad however, boasts a significantly higher Mu plot and thermal threshold than the Axxis Ultimate.

The Cobalt GT-Sport Brake pads are rotor friendly and have excellent modulation and release characteristics, both are desirable attributes for anyone seriously competing in the Auto-X world.

Designed primarily for lighter cars running on R-compound tires in both Autocross and light duty road racing, the Cobalt Friction GT-Sport brake pads are a very desirable compromise between streetability and high performance track use. The last step up before entering into the world of full blown race pads, the GT-sports are perfect for the weekend warrior racer!
