With 6000 miles of travel between tracks like Sears Point, Pikes Peak, and Road America, I need a suspension setup capable of attacking the circuits without punishishing me too much on the drives in between. Based in Adrenaline's own experience with the Tein Flex system at the Open Track Challenge, I selected the same coilovers for my One Lap of America Miata. As I prepare for the event, I have yet to be disappointed in the decision. The Flex comes pre-assembled and height adjusted, so install was easily under 2 hours. Daily driving comfort is not only preserved, but improved over stock, without even going to the softest dampening setting. However, the suspension really begins to express itself at speed on the track. At Motorsport Ranch I was amazed at the difference in cornering speed capable, on street compound tires, that the Flex would allow. Gradually dialing down from an initial setting of 10front/12rear (street) to 6f/8r, the car continued to exhibit increased confidence and control through the turns. I'm looking forward to utilizing the adjustable shock body length, a feature not found on lower end coilovers, to properly balance the car at the next alignment.
If you really want the a top notch, street/track solution, I strongly believe that the Flex will do the job. It not only does both, but it does both WELL. To top it off, Adrenaline has hands on experience with a lot of the products they sell, including this one, so questions and support have been prompt and accurate.
